REGULAR CAMPER

Our overnight campers enjoy the full Icelandic Camp experience while staying on site for the week. Campers take part in a wide variety of activities, including sports, Icelandic language lessons, movie nights, trips into Gimli, daily swimming, group games, cultural activities, and more.

Staying overnight gives campers the chance to build friendships, grow independence, and fully immerse themselves in camp life from morning until night. With a balance of structured activities, free time, and community-building experiences, overnight camp is a fun and memorable way for campers to connect with Icelandic culture, make new friends, and enjoy everything camp has to offer.

DAY CAMPER

Day campers participate in the same fun and engaging activities as our overnight campers, including sports, Icelandic language lessons, movie nights, trips into Gimli, daily swimming, group games, cultural activities, and more.

The day camp option is a great fit for campers who want to experience the full camp program without staying overnight. Day campers are dropped off each morning at 8:00 a.m. and picked up at 8:00 p.m., giving them a full day to take part in camp life, connect with other campers, and enjoy the activities, traditions, and friendships that make Icelandic Camp special.

JUNIOR CONCELOR

The Junior Counsellor program is designed for older students who are ready to take on a small leadership role at Icelandic Camp. Junior Counsellors participate in camp life while also helping support younger campers, assisting with activities, modelling positive behaviour, and contributing to the overall camp community.

This role gives students the opportunity to build confidence, develop leadership skills, and learn what it means to be a positive role model. Junior Counsellors still get to enjoy the fun, connection, and cultural experiences of camp, while also taking on added responsibility and supporting the campers around them.
